Springs of Living Water Foundation has been awarded a Neighborhood Grant of $2,500.00 for employment skills training by the Hawaii Community Foundation. In July 2001, a project grant for the Literacy and Job Enhancement Project for the newly arrived immigrants was received from Atherton Family Foundation with the amount of $5,000.00 together with the $10,000.00 grant from Pizza Hut Literacy Fund of the Hawaii Community Foundation.
In the Summer of 2004, we started to develop a partnership with the Waipahu Community School for Adults in providing learning opportunities and community training programs. Since then formal courses are now being offered in Springs of Living Water Foundation facilities.
